I have noticed over the last few months how wrapped up and busy with things people can be in life. It is easy to get consumed with work and staying focused on goals. I know it's good to work hard but you have to strike a balance also. I heard a quote the other day, "It's not that life is so short, it's that we wait so long to begin living." We all have to strive to stop and slow down and smell the roses. How do you enjoy the journey? What I do is I take my phone out and go through my contact list each morning and call someone from it ONLY to say hello and ask how they are doing. Can you imagine how this one phone call can brighten someone's day? I did this yesterday to someone I had not talked to in almost a year. They were having a bad day and when I called them I could tell. I spent sometime with this person and by the end of it they felt better and thanked me several times for listening to them. If we all would stay determined to enjoy the journey in our life we would not have any regrets. Make the most of your day, enjoy your family, friends and loved ones. Don't take for granted they are in this journey with you. One day you may look around and time will have passed you by.
